Ok so let me start by saying that Luke & Noknoy are way fun and super cute together. We met up with them last weekend in Old Folsom and had a great time. They are so fun to be around that it spreads to others. You laugh with them, joke with them, and just smile with them. THEY ARE FUN!!! Between their personalities and ideas they wanted to do for the engagement shoot, it makes us realize how much we LOVE our job! They were down for anything and it showed. There is no such thing in their book as being uncomfortable in front of the camera. Luke & Noknoy, we had a blast with you two. Enjoy your teaser and we look forward to showing you the rest soon. These two are so fun. Tug a war. Love it!! Who won though?
Enough said. :)
SUPER CUTE RIGHT?

As some of you may know abou me, I love to cook. Jen is spoiled rotten with good food, and she will be one of the first to tell you. I have always been around cooking. I grew up watching my mom cook and learning and helping her. I love to watch cooking shows and when I have time to, I love to entertain and bless people with good food. Because lets be honest, good food = for good times!!! Lately, Brian has been getting more and more interested in helping prepare dinner, so I have been teaching him how to cut correctly and slowly, don't want to loose any digits!! I really get excite and a bit nervous, i Iwont lie, when he helps me out. Its a great way to bond, and creates memories for both of us. LOVE THAT!!! Here I am showing him the correct way to cut AWAY from yourself.
Now his turn with me.
Love these that Jen took.

As the years go by, our kids are getting so big and Brian, is getting more and more interested in photography. In fact Jen and Brian made a paper, pinhole camera together which came out pretty cool. As they were putting it together Brian became curious how film and light work together to make photos, so Jen pulled out some of her old photos she took and developed back in high school and shared with Brian what it takes to produce a photo with the chemicals, and in a room with no light except for the red light, and so on. Its really cool to see her explain and still have that passion alive and well inside of her back from her film days to now, and speaking of film, Jen got me a HOLGAa few months ago for christmas and I have been having tons of fun with it. I just finished my first roll of 120 film and now just trying to find a place that develops that type of film. Jens put the film bug in me now!! Thats a good thing though. check out the hot couple in this photo. Hmmmmmmm i know those two. ;)
Jen showing Brian some old photos and exlaining to him the process.

Last weekend I spent the morning with one of my favorite families, the Fashanos. We have know Sarah & Guy for years, and were in a biblestudy class years ago (when they were pregnant with their 1st). It's been so fun watching our families grow together! The last time I photographed their family, they were expecting their 3rd child, Stella, and I was pregnant with Bella (who by the way, the 2 girls are only 1 month apart in age!) :) Wow, I can't believe it's been 2 years since that session! They are now anxiously awaiting the arrival of their 4 child, and I can't wait to meet this little one! I had such a great time hanging out with you guys & catching up! Enjoy your blog teaser, the rest of your photos will be ready for you soon! :)
