Earlier today I took Aiden & Bella on fieldtrip to Explorit Science Museum in Davis. My friend Tezra invited us to join her home school group on the fieldtrip. The museum is so cool with lots of hands on experiements and activities for the kids. I have more photos, I hope to blog soon, but I had to quickly share this photo. This is my point of view most times when we are in groups with Aiden. He is so shy, until he warms up. That I don't even think about it anymore, I can just expect him to be close to my side, either holding onto my pant leg or my hand. I was taking photos of the Bella and Tezra's kids exploring and looked down through my lens and had to record this moment. This is SOOOOO Aiden, holding my hand, looking up at me with a look in his eye like, "Get me the HE*L out of here." haha
I know this stage won't last forever, and it will be quicker than I'd like that he will be "over me" and be embarrased by my sheer presence. SO I'm glad I"ll have this photo to look back on to remember the days that he couldn't leave my side. :)

As some of you may know abou me, I love to cook. Jen is spoiled rotten with good food, and she will be one of the first to tell you. I have always been around cooking. I grew up watching my mom cook and learning and helping her. I love to watch cooking shows and when I have time to, I love to entertain and bless people with good food. Because lets be honest, good food = for good times!!! Lately, Brian has been getting more and more interested in helping prepare dinner, so I have been teaching him how to cut correctly and slowly, don't want to loose any digits!! I really get excite and a bit nervous, i Iwont lie, when he helps me out. Its a great way to bond, and creates memories for both of us. LOVE THAT!!! Here I am showing him the correct way to cut AWAY from yourself.
Now his turn with me.
Love these that Jen took.

Ok first off, this family was so so so sooooooooooooooo much fun to photograph, and not only that, their son Cole, lets just say this little guy was not afraid to be in front of the camera at all!!! I love it!!! Last weekend I ventured out to Roseville to meet up with Leslie, Ken, and the amazing Cole. Now this family was so genuine and loving, and it trully showed. From the interaction they have together, to the laughter, to everything about them, they trully are a amazing family, and their actions and positive attitude is contagious, plus Tehy love baseball/softball so in my book you already are way cool. You can't help but to laugh with them and just enjoy them around you. It was so much fun, I couldn't wait to start editing these bad boys! Leslie, Ken and Cole, you guys ROCKED THIS WAY OUT!!! Enjoy the teaser!!! What family doesnt like to play ball!! Love that!!

As the years go by, our kids are getting so big and Brian, is getting more and more interested in photography. In fact Jen and Brian made a paper, pinhole camera together which came out pretty cool. As they were putting it together Brian became curious how film and light work together to make photos, so Jen pulled out some of her old photos she took and developed back in high school and shared with Brian what it takes to produce a photo with the chemicals, and in a room with no light except for the red light, and so on. Its really cool to see her explain and still have that passion alive and well inside of her back from her film days to now, and speaking of film, Jen got me a HOLGAa few months ago for christmas and I have been having tons of fun with it. I just finished my first roll of 120 film and now just trying to find a place that develops that type of film. Jens put the film bug in me now!! Thats a good thing though. check out the hot couple in this photo. Hmmmmmmm i know those two. ;)
Jen showing Brian some old photos and exlaining to him the process.
