I'm still picking my jaw up off the floor after Tori's senior portrait session on Monday. Now I'm going to sound like the old lady here...... but I used to nanny Tori, I babysat her since she was like Aiden's age, and then nannied her when she was in 1st grade..... so excuse me while it sinks in just how old I'm getting........ whew.... ok, I think I'm ok now. ;-) After the shock wore off when Tori called asking for Senior Portraits I was beside myself excited!! Tori is an amazing outgoing full of life and fun type of girl..... not to mention gorgeous!!! ;-) When I asked her what she was looking for in her portraits she said, "I dunno, just not pretty nature... yuck, and something that's legit!" ahaha so the challenge was on to find a legit location that wasn't "pretty nature"..... I think we may have found it! ;-) So enjoy your blog teaser Tori, I'm so excited to share the rest with you! (and thanks for braving stinky alleyways and dodging a train for these rockin' shots!!!) ummmmm yeah, this was like the 2nd photo we took..... A-MAZING!!!!
yep.... she rocked it on top of a dumpster... now how many seniors will rock their senior portraits on a dumpster I ask ya, and look AMAZING doing it????

Meet Ryan, Lisa, and Macen. They are a family that is so laid back, fun and cool!! We always love the idea when a couple does a engagement session and incorporates the kids in it as well. When we met them at their house, and got to know them more, we knew right away that we were going to have fun, and fun we did!! Macen is 7 years old and is full of energy! He was a crack up. I asked him " so you looking forward to taking pictures?" and his reply was "well........not really" Oh the honesty of children. Well I have to say that once we started the session, Macen was in full effect. From jumping off a bench in the backyard, to playing football with dad, to running around the park, to swinging. This kid was amazing!! Plus in the middle of the session he was asking us "Am I in the next photo?" So cute!! Ok, ok, enough of Macen, now on to Ryan and Lisa!! These two are trully in love and just love everything about each other. When we got their questionare and read it, both Jen and I were like "oh man, they are going to be a blast to meet and shoot" and they were. Such a awesome couple, let alone a awesome family. Ryan, Lisa, and Macen, enjoy this teaser of your photos! Meet the family guys and gals!!

It's officially, official....... Chris has retired from his day job and is now 100% a full time photographer!!! We are all SO VERY exctied to have him be able to focus solely on the business, and have more time with the family now!! Tuesday was his last day going into Raley's and the kids and I decided to surprise him when he came home with signs welcoming him home. I drew up the signs and let the kids paint them. There were 4 signs, each sign had one word. 3 of them were hung on the garage door, and the last one they all held up together. The 3 on the garage read "Welcome" "Home" "Dad". The final sign that they held together was written in glitter glue and read "forever" The kids were so excited about surprising Chris, and I think it was just icing on the cake for a very big day for Chris! ;-) And today....... we are looking forward to celebrating with some of the people in our lives who helped to make this day happen!!! Can't wait!!!

Hello my name is Jen, and I'm a proud mom, who thinks her kids are too cute for words!!! I know there is others of you out there that think your kids are the cutest.... and I have to admit there are some other cute kids out there. But in my eyes, no one compares to my kids. I may be biased, I may be looking at things through rose colored glasses.... but I'm happy in my delusion, thankyouverymuch! ;-) So when I was taking some photos of Bella in her splint the other day, I couldn't help but take a few of the boys as well. This is the only one I got of Aiden, he is 4....... he's fast..... I was tired..... enough said! haha
ummmmmm, excuse my while my heart melts...... I can't believe how handsom Regan is getting! And I hear daily how jealous Chris is of Regan's cool hair! haha

And then there's Brian. My little man, who takes himself far too serious sometimes
but then he can't help but crack that adorable smile! I can't believe he's turning 10 in a few weeks!!!!
He may be getting older...... but he's still a boy.... with a boy's sense of humor!! haha
