Last week we had a bunch of fun with Jeffery and Andi in downtown Sacramento for their engagement session. We met them at their home and there home is so cute and cool, that it almost reminds me of downtown San Francisco.  We all hopped in one car and headed downtown to get things started.  Downtown has become such a great place to shoot and always finding new and unique area's to shoot that aren't the ordinary and we did just that.  Take a peek at their teaser from the engagement session.  Jeffery and Andi we hope you enjoy this teaser as we are excited to show the rest of your session.

Love this pic of them!!!

So we started in midtown and then moved our way to this old bridge across the delta that was built in 1912 and still is a working bridge that pivots when large boats come down to get through.  It is a awesome place fo sho!!!

and this was under the bridge.  Can we say UMMMM AMAZING???????  Yup I can!!!

So as we were down there shooting the train runs under the bridge and one was coming on the opposite side of the tracks and I got these and they are some of my fav's fo sho!!!

Last weekend we traveled to Pleasanton, Ca for Dario & Stephanie's amazing wedding at Casa Real which is one of the most beautiful venues we have been to.  The area is beautiful with grape vines that surround the area and the inside is great.  The day couldn't have been better.  If you don't remember Dario and Stepahnie from their engagement session, they are one of those couples that are just fantastic not only to photograph but to hang with and talk to.  These two are so down to earth and like to have fun.  Their families are so loving, and it showed.  The speeches, the details of the decor, lighting, all of the above were perfect.  This wedding was so perfectly planned that it made the place just sparkle.  Yah I know it sounds cheesy but it was so well done both Jen and I were speechless. It was a amazing day and Dario and Stephanie we are so happy for you two!!  Enjoy your blog post!!

Megan and I met up last Tuesday, if you are local to the area, you may remember last Tuesday's bizarre weather. It was crazy windy, with dark swirling clouds in one direction, and clear beautiful skys if you turned around. But Megan was undaunted by the weather.  I met her out at the river, and SO enjoyed chatting with her, getting to know her better and learn about the awesome plans and amazing opportunities these next few years have in store for her!

Megan, you are so quick and easy to smile, and was just a pure joy to hang out with! Enjoy your photos, the rest are coming soon!

As we were walking back to the car to grab her prom dress for her to change into we both commented on how ominous the clouds looked, but there was no rain in the forcast (I even double checked 2x) so we continued on.

I guess the heavens just couldn't take her hotness anymore and needed to cool her off, because they opened up and it started to POUR as we walked back to the car!

Megan thanks for a fun eventful afternoon!

I just LOVE the Vintage Glam Weddings Blog, I've been following Amanda's Twitter updates and blog for a while, and it's everything a girl needs to find inspiration for her vintage wedding, or just plain love of vintage glam! :)

Funny story.... I wake up this morning to see her latest Twitter update saying "New blog post: 1940's Engagement Session http://tinyurl.com/dmo3dz" I briefly thought to myself, hey we did a 40's inspired engagement session, I should submit ours...

I went through the morning madness to get the kids out the door to school, as I'm driving them to school I see an email come through from Julie (my amazing cousin & May bride, who's engagement session was the afore mentioned 40's inspired theme).  Her email tells me that she submitted her engagement session to Vintage Glam Weddings, and it's been featured today!

HAHA, I start laughing out loud in the car thinking about my earlier thought this morning when I read the twitter update (yes, my kids thought I was a little crazy)!

Thanks Julie for submitting the session, you and Joe are the BEST!!  Chris and I are SOOOOOOOO excited for your fabulous wedding in May!  And Amanda, thank you for featuring my wonderful cousin's engagement session!  Just wait till you see the wedding! ;)

So what are you waiting for? Go check out Vintage Glam Weddings Blog, and be inspired by all their vintage-y goodness!  I know if I could plan my wedding again, I'd have some vintage fun! :)
