I want to start off by saying Lisa, you totally ROCKED THIS SESSION FO SHO!!!  Some of you know Lisa, the owner and rad hairstylist up at Sacco Salon in Newcastle. Lisa has been our personal hairstylist for a while now and  has become more then just our hairstylist.   She has become one of our dear friends.  One of the coolest things when we go to see her at her salon, is that she already has a idea in mind for us before we even step foot in the door, and when we leave, we leave looking awesome.   Now can your hairstylist do that?     Lisa asked if I could take some pictures of  her for her marketing materials, so of course I said yes, and people let me tell you that this was one of my favorite sessions EVA!!!     If any of you in the Sacramento,  Auburn, or Newcastle area are in need of a hairstylist, check out Lisa at Sacco Salon. Last week I was so excited to head out of the Sacramento area and drive down to Sebastopol to see the Smith Family!! You may remember them from my visit back in September. I LOVE getting the opportunity to see families again and again.  So much changes every few months in a young family’s life.  And the Smiths are no exception.  I was shocked to see how big Dylan has gotten, and see how fun and full of energy Ani is (last time she was recovering from a cold).  Not to mention Dylan & Ani’s mom Mariah, is an awesomely talented photographer herself!!

Mariah & Arron, thank you so much for having me out!  I always feel so welcome and like a part of your family when I’m there.  Ani, thank you for entertaining me all morning, and Dylan, thank you for the awesome snuggles dude!!

Ok mom, you can all relate to this photo of changing your squirmy, wormy baby’s diaper…

and then he arches his back and makes it nearly impossible… it’s like wrestling an alligator just to get the diaper changed! hahaha

I’m not exaggerating… I can feel the love they all have for each other, the whole time I’m with them.  I am truly blessed just to witness the love I get to on a regular basis!

haha Dylan is so fast crawling now, he kept going straight for my camera.

Ani is quite the fashionista, I think she had a dress on and 3 different capes on as she danced around her room. BEAUTIFUL!!!

She read me several stories while I was there.  I love that Biscuit is quite content sleeping under her bed as she reads aloud.

And while she was reading, Dylan was crawling around on the floor, checking stuff out, and trying to pet biscuit under the bed.

Mariah & Aaron, you two are so happy and in love, I smile every time I see one of the many photos I captured of you two snuggling up while you played with and watched the kids play.

Dylan LOVES his baths, and couldn’t wait for someone to get him in there!! haha

Last week I got to photograph one of the locals here in Sacramento that has some of the best wine around. His name is David Cole, Owner of James David Cellars. This wine is amazing and Jen will agree with me. David is a awesome guy that not only makes his own wine, but really focuses on that relationship with his client. So when he asked if I would be interested in taking his picture with his kids, I was stoked. His kids are so much fun as well. David, I had a blast with you and your kids, and loved going to Sushi after. That was such good sushi!! Enjoy your teaser!!

On Friday I had the pleasure of meeting up with Jillian to photograph her Senior Portraits. I was so excited to see her again, she is so beautiful and fun and has probably has one of the best smiles & laughs eva!! I first met Jill when we photographed her sisters wedding almost 2 years ago (WOW, has it already been almost 2 years?!?!) Chris and I immediately fell in love with the whole family. Then last year, Chris was able to go out and photograph their family portraits (gotta tell you, I was a little jealous I wasn’t able to make it out for that one to see everyone!) So I was VERY excited to get to see Jill and her mom on Friday, and meet her super awesome boyfriend as well! We had a great time, walking around, catching up and laughing!

Wow, has it been a year already!?!? This time last year I met Tiffany and her adorable family when I photographed Alexa’s newborn photos. I was SO excited to come back and see everyone again. I’m in awe of how much the girls have grown in just a year!!! I had so much fun playing with the girls at the park, and then back at home. Tiffany, thank you so much for having me out, enjoy your teaser, there’s more to come soon!

After our fun outdoors, we went back home and Alexa enjoyed some ice cream before they got into their Christmas dresses!

There is something about how focused a toddler is when they play with their toys. I LOVE it!!

The girls LOVE dancing to I Got A Feeling, so Tiffany turned up the music, and I LOVE how Cariana grabbed their dog’s paws and began dancing!!

What a good looking couple!!

Last week I got to go and hang with a terrific family in Old Folsom, which are the Leech Family. They were alot of fun to hang with, and photograph. Their little girls, Kaitlin and Kaleigh are so so SO adorable and full of energy, that it was hard to turn away for a minute cause they were so cute. Justin and Allison met up with his parents and we had a great time. Between the weather, the kids, and just the whole way the session went, it was awesome. Last week I got a opportunity to shoot the fun group of people that work Downtown at Capital Communications & Marketing, a division of Aaron Reed & Associates, and did some corporate photography for their launch. This is something new for me and a little out of the box, but I like that. Jen had photographed Marketplace Communications a month ago and did some great headshots for them. This time around they asked if we could capture them behind the scenes and show how everyone works but still have fun at their job, and thats what they do on a daily basis. Seriously, this group of people are so fun to be around, it becomes contagious and you can’t help but laugh and enjoy your time there. It was a great day and a great session and can’t wait to go back!!

What better way to have fun at the workplace then throwing wadded up paper balls at each other.

Or casually putting in your office. Love that!!

and what better way to just sit and relax then in your office with a few of your collegues with your feet up on the desk. Love that!!
